Lately when it comes to being creative, I haven’t gone much further than journaling or art journaling. Over the weekend I made the page below, and while it isn’t necessarily my favorite, it does really bring out something that I enjoy thinking about: other periods in time.

I love the look of a lot of 1940’s-1950’s fashion. If I could time travel, I would definitely be interested in seeing this time period. I was looking for some examples of 1940’s fashion that I liked, and I came across some of the images below:

Wish I were daring enough to try some of these styles–Japanese women certainly don’t mind trying out any fashion they like! I would also love to wear some Victorian or Renaissance-style dresses if I had a chance. What time period of fashion do you wish you could try out?

i love fashion from the 20s-60s. the men and women looked so put together all the time. i’m sure there were frumpy/sloppy outfits for when you just wanted to be comfy but i watch all those old movies i like and the women look gorgeous even in the simplest dress and the men look so sharp. is this art journaling page the one about old fashion stuff?
